Student Wellness at Yale Health presents: Koru Mindfulness

Four-week series: Tuesdays, June 7, 14, 21, 28 from 5-6:15pm at OISS

ATTENDANCE AT ALL FOUR CLASSES IS REQUIRED

Koru Mindfulness is a four-week course designed to teach students basic mindfulness and meditation skills. These skills help students manage stress, improve sleep quality, reduce self-judgment and increase compassion. The course meets once weekly for four weeks and attendance at all four classes is required in order to register. Students read selected passages from the course text Wherever You Go, There You Are by Jon Kabat-Zinn. The registration fee covers the cost of the book, which will be handed out on the first day of class. Koru is taught by Tracy George, MPH, CHES, Health Educator for Student Wellness at Yale Health.
